A heady mix of spice and plant power - masculinity with the right amount of sweetness.

Man tea contains stinging nettle - a natural antihistamine that is high in iron and excellent for the urinary system. Liquorice root makes the man tea naturally sweet whilst acting as a decongestant. Grains of paradise is good for digestion.

Blend: Rooibos (Aspalathus linearis), Stinging Nettle (Urtica dioca/urens), Liquorice Root (Glycyrrhiza Glabra), Cinnamon (Gentiana lutea), Grains of Paradise (Aframomum melegueta)

How to make your infusion: Use 1-2 teaspoons per cup, add hot water, then cover the cup and allow the herbs to steep for 10 minutes. Sip and enjoy.

After 2 weeks of daily consumption, take a 2-week break.

Stinging Nettle (Urtica dioica/urens)
Stinging nettle may be effective as a natural antihistamine. It could also assist to stimulate the metabolism, aid the functioning of the urinary tract, be helpful in cases of benign prostate enlargements, work as a haemostatic for internal and external bleeding, be used to mitigate hair loss, and aid an irritable bladder. Urtica contains phytohormones and may be indicated in improving potency, exhaustion, stress, menopause, and the immune system, as well as regulating the menstrual cycle and anaemia (iron deficiency). Note: Increased urination may occur (due to Urtica's diuretic effects) - an increased intake of fluid is recommended.

Liquorice Root (Glycyrrhiza Glabra)
The sweet-tasting root contains triterpene saponins that may be effective expectorants and anti-inflammatory in cases of the intestinal mucosa and/or ulcers, making it useful for IBS and constipation. It is said to be beneficial for allergies, asthma, chronic fatigue syndrome, depression, emphysema, enlarged prostate, premenstrual syndrome, and menopausal symptoms.

Cinnamon (Gentiana lutea) 
Cinnamon may have an anti-spasmodic effect on nausea, cramping and indigestion.   

Rooibos (Aspalathus linearis) 
Rich in anti-oxidants and Vitamin A   

Grains of Paradise (Aframomum melegueta)
This West African substitute for pepper has long been used for stomach ailments and diarrhea, and may assist in burning body fat.
